New Year Breaks

30th December 2019 – 2nd January 2020

Scotland – the birthplace of monumentally inspiring Hogmanay celebrations.

No one celebrates Hogmanay like us. It has been firmly rooted in Scottish tradition for centuries and at Kingshouse, we plan on bringing in the New Year in the best of company. And by that we mean with the finest scran, many a dram and plenty of dancing into the wee hours.

What’s included?

  • Three night’s accommodation
  • All of your means – from lunch on the day you arrive to breakfast on the day you leave
  • Black-tie gala dinner
  • Guided walks and live music

All from £220 per person, per night.

Highlights

30th December

After a long journey, make yourself at home before tucking into a welcome lunch buffet. Ready to explore the area? We will be hosting guided walks from the hotel with hot toddies waiting for you on your return in the Way Inn.

Start the evening as you mean to go on with a welcome drink and 4-course dinner, followed by live entertainment in The Way Inn. Feeling peckish in the evening? We will be serving artisan cheeses and port in the gallery.

New Year’s Eve

Fuel up for the day, starting with breakfast at your own pace. Early morning we will be providing transport to and from the ski centre to take the chairlift to the top. We will be doing a guided walk back down, but you can take the chairlift back down if you prefer. Mind to put on a few extra layers, it will be chilly at the top.

Our estate to plate lunch is full of flavour, and if you have space, you can have a cake or two in the afternoon

Evening black-tie celebrations kick-off with a bubbly drinks reception and 4-course dinner in the restaurant. After you are suitably full, our Gala Ball begins. We recommend starting with your favourite drink in the bar or The Way Inn as the buzz of a new year approaching sets in.

Our restaurant will be transformed for a foot-stomping Ceilidh and live band. Nothing like a few rounds of Strip the Willow or The Gay Gordons to get your heart pumping. Our Piper will be toasting the New Year as the clock strikes midnight.

Need a break from all the dancing? We will have bacon rolls, lobster nuggets, chip cones and haggis fritters to top you up.

New Year’s Day

The word ‘rush’ doesn’t exist on the 1st. Start the day at your own pace. Fancy snoozing? No problem. Want to head out and explore? Good on you! We will have grab’n’go breakfast bags in The Way Inn or you can order for your breakfast to be delivered.

For those who plan on seizing the day from 10am, we will be serving brunch with a glass of Bucks fizz. To remedy rumbling stomachs you can tuck into a leisurely Afternoon Tea in the bar to tide you over to the 4-course dinner in the evening. (Please don’t smuggle any of the cake for the deer, they celebrated plenty last night).

Settle in for the evening with live music in The Way Inn, have a few drinks by the fire and top up on mini beef wellingtons and bacon rolls.

Thursday 2nd January

Before you bid farewell to Glencoe, top up on breakfast to set you up for the journey homeward bound.
